Mixing Race has been a project I've had in the pipeline for quite some time. The result was far from what I'd originally anticipated and am pleased to admit that it has come on leaps and bounds in terms of the overriding concept and aesthetic. To think that only three weeks ago I'd set out to have the garment made and soon after that photograph with models wearing the piece. Now it's become my third year degree show piece, exhibited on a presentation board and complete with caption.
Big special mentioned necessary for the help Joe and Jed gave me during those crucial hours putting the piece up.
